Build a new House of Help with us

From 2020, the statics of the building begun to erode in our rented premises on Věstonická street, where all our services were provided. As a result, cracks began to appear in the walls of the building.

From the moment we found out that the building's statics were broken, we prayed intensely to God and we were looking for suitable premises where our service could continue. After much searching, praying, fasting, and looking at many buildings, this year we found a building located in the Brno - Střelice area.

The total usable area of the building is 2 500 m2. The building is connected to utilities - gas, electricity. Water is there in combination of own well and municipal water supply. The total land area is 23 186 m2. On the land there is also a sports field, which would be used for children's service. The house has a newer roof, the property as a whole is then in very good condition. There is a dining room with a large kitchen. The property provides accommodation for several dozen people.

The building of the new House of Help:

The aid house will serve children at risk of poverty, single mothers, homeless people, but also all the others whom we have been serving since 2012.

Building Description:

The building have a total of 5 floors to include everything needed for the ministry.

A kitchen where the food will be prepared
A dining room where people can come and eat for free
A room for the children's playroom
Storage for food and clothing
The office
Toilets for men, women
Technical room of the building
Room for leisure activities - crime prevention
Tutoring room for children
Storage room
Rooms for individual accommodation
Accommodation for single mothers
Accommodation for older people who find themselves on the street
Accommodation for whole families who find themselves on the street from one day to the next

The building will also be used for summer camps for children, which we have been organising regularly since 2016. The camp is for children who are at risk of poverty.

The project also includes a building, separated for the service of homeless people, i.e. people living on the street, in which will be:

Changing room,
Showers - men, women separately,
Toilets - men, women separately
Haircutting room
Service room
Dining room with plastic equipment
Kitchen for food preparation for homeless people
Hall for evangelistic services

This part will also be separated for hygiene reasons. Since the beginning of our service to the homeless we have been able to identify what is really needed and necessary for the service. So it will be a so-called the catch part of the service where people will learn about the gospel and after stabilization, they can then move to the House of Help building where they could overcome a difficult time in getting rid of alcohol or drug addiction.

The total price of this project is 32,000,000 CZK (approximately 1,400,000 dollars).

Thanks to your support, we can:

continue the service
provide temporary accommodation for single mothers
build a new food warehouse for homeless people who can come here for free food assistance
build a ward for homeless people for temporary accommodation
build a sports field for children to make better use of their free time
build an education department for adolescents and adults, where people can gain skills and re-gain habits for a proper civic life
continue tutoring children, as the House of Help will have a children's ward with an education room. This will give them a chance for a better future.
